Arka - from latin verb "arcere" meaning "safegaurd", also meaning "vessel"
Vita - from latin verb "vivere" meaning "to live"
Arkavita Ventures was an idea born after countless conversations that could all be boiled down to: What would ACTUALLY make us happy? How does society support or hinder our ability to achieve those goals?
We realized that the American societal norms were not conducive to a sustainable lifestyle built around being truly content.

We recognize that we are at the beginning of our journey, and our strength lies in the ability to learn, adapt, and grow. Arkavita Ventures is dedicated to producing quality services from the get go, which means a more intentional and slower start that is not based on financial gain.

Meet the Owners
Sarah and Connor Lowndes met in college at Colorado State University in Fort Collins. While they have a complex and interesting backstory, we can simplify it and say they met in none other than: Marching Band. One was on the drumline and the other played flute one year and baritone the next. Care to guess? Here's a hint: Sarah graduated with a degree in Music Education, and Connor graduated with double major in Fish and Wildlife Biology, and Environment Sustainability.

They didn't actually start dating until after college(3 years after they met), but from the beginning of their official relationship there were talks of making a business together. The ideas have evolved and changed so much (some ideas scrapped completely) over the past 5 years, but one thing has stayed the same: The Why?

Sarah and Connor prioritize their values over their bank accounts. Arkavita Ventures is here to give you work-life balance that allows you to build a family as you want, help you nourish yourself in a way that is good for your body and soul, and keep us all accountable and responsible for the lifestyle we create together. We strive to be affordable without compromising quality, because a sustainable lifestyle shouldn't be consisted a luxury.
